World, meet my grandmother. Mawmaw, meet the world.
This woman was a great many things in life; a mother of five, an avid reader and my favorite storyteller; a lover of the unusual, the unique, and the unforgettable; and the only person in my whole world who saw, encouraged, accepted, and loved every single part of me. Mawmaw is more than my muse, she is the light & soul of my studio, a reconnection I want to bring to the hearts of others.

My sweet Mawmaw is surrounded by flashes of rainbows against a violet background. This pendant was made using her cremated remains, her ashes not only completely fused within the glass stone, but also infused within the handcrafted 99.9% sterling silver setting.
Memorial work is handled with the greatest of care and a deep respect for the love each client has for their dearly departed. Every piece begins with storytelling, allowing me to get to know both the client and their loved one through tales of a life shared. With a little time and creativity, a truly one-of-a-kind work of art springs forth from those stories!

Due to the sensitive nature of memorial work, Silver City Glass owner Marlena Doughty will be the only person processing inquiries and orders involving cremated remains. While inquiries will be responded to within 24 hours, order waitlist times may vary.
* DISCLAIMER : All memorial orders involving cremated remains will require a release of liability form and a non-refundable deposit of $100 or 50% of the total, whichever is greater. An inquiry becomes an order only after the deposit has been paid.
